"Pilgrimage" is the name given to photographic works produced by angel Kyodo williams. It refers to her sense of her life being a pilgrimage. Each series is a stop along life's journey to hold moments with reverence in the heart, before moving along, as we must do, to the next moment in time.

New Dharma's Meditation Center for Urban Peace is located in an 1890 Victorian right on the border of Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville. The neighborhood is a complex mix of historic and modern, old guard and new hipsters. The local Black Muslim Bakery's no salt, no refined sugar pies and baked goods is favorite of the areas former shipyard constructers and yoga devotees equally. In the midst of this mix, "the Center," as it is both known and becoming, houses the beginnings of what very well may be the most truly diverse Western meditation-based, Buddhist-rooted community.
